For anyone that's built a four star, where did you route the antenna wire? I'm think of going out the side by the power switch and taping it down to the fuselage all the way back to the tail.
How much wire can you keep inside the fueslage? For example, what if I run it through the rear of the fuselage and bring it out toward the back some where? This will be kinda tricky though.

HOPPY, I routed the aerial in my 4* the same as my Tiger 2. I made a hole in the bottom of the fuse just behind the former that sits right behind the wing. I kept it simple and ran the aerial back along the bottom of the plane and then secured it with a rubber band stretched to a small post that I put ibnto the fuse bottom. Not elaborate but basically keeps the aerial from cluttering up the top side.

You can route the antenna inside the fuse for it's entire length if you want to. Many airplanes are done this way. Just don't fold it back on itself or let the end get coiled up. It's also a good idea to keep it as far away from any metal or electronics as possible.

in general I try to get my antena out of the fus asap.
- sometimes you will use metal pushrods or other metal materials and is good to get it out to avoid any given chance of interferance.
if you get it out on the bottom part of the fus you won´t see it and you will be happy....as well as your Rx!!
If you really want it hidden there are some products desing for that specific porpouse.
