Well it's done now. Good and proper. I'm completely free of that leash known as the buddy cord. I am now fully fledged, licenced and non-provisional.
I did my bronze wings test. Trimmed the plane, dead stick landing, recover from stall, procedure turns and the approach from both ends. And passed with satisfactory colours!
It feels good. Good to be able to go down to the club and fly whenever I want. Well.....not for a while actually. When I got home I tripped over the dog and crunched my horizontal stab into a brick wall.

But it was still a successful solo flight so I'm mostly happy!
Thanks to RCU fellas for all ur help and support. I'm yet to assess the damage but I'm hopeful that it can be repaired.
Cheers

dydx,
Congrats on the solo. Heck, I bet you still have that silly little smile on your face don't you?? Don't worry about it, I had the same smile for about 3 months.
A solo flight is a great accomplishment and that wins you one genuine RCU ATTABOY (Suitable for framing, wrapping fish, or lining trashcans).

Congradulation DYDX,
Cant blame the dog, he or she must have been just as excited at you.
PS Love the RCU certificate, puts my old club certificate to shame.

Congrats!!! Back when I learned how to fly and went solo, was knowing that I could go to the field and fly by myself whenever I wanted to. Hope you enjoy your time in the hobby!

The only way I can think of doing 3 touch and goes simultaneously would be if you were flying 3 planes simultaneously.....NOW THAT is an achievement

EXCELLENT!!!
And not only have you done the flying part, but you've also gotten introduced (thanks to your very wise and insightful dog) to the MOST IMPORTANT skill of all, rebuilding.
A beginner once asked an old experienced flyer which was the most important thing to practice, take off and landings or flying maneuvers? The old guy said just one word, "repairing".

Hey just for an update:
After a bit of epoxy, some inflatable pool toy repair patches and some patience my plane is back as good as new. I took it for a fly today. There was a slight crosswind over the strip but she flew straight and true.
