Default THE NEW INTERESTING PROJECT

Hello everyone!
I am planning to design a new equipment! This equipment can be called airboat but it can be lift up from background or water surface to move faster..So it has 1 propeller in vertical plane to lift it and 2 propeller in horizontal plane to create thrust! I have not seen that equipment before so can you share your experience in RC Airplane for me? Thanks in advance!

Omertavn, I have no experience with what you describe. Jetmech05, If this design has been done "Full Scale", do you have more information on it; or, do you know where more information might be found? I have seen an R/C pickle fork, hydro-foil type boat, which used a model airplane engine and air propeller and lifting body hull to fly off water and ground and it was amazing! This was located on the web, someplace. If interested in the film, I will find the website and post it here.

Hi,

Are you guys talking about hovercrafts? These seem to be becoming more popular in the RC hobby. This site has several to choose from.. [link=http://www.raidentech.com/rchovercrafts.html]HOVERCRAFT[/link]

I think he's talking about a boat (not a hydrofoil) that can build sufficient speed to lift itself just barely out of the water to reduce the drag. I remember the military built one (full scale) as a troop transport. It was huge and had 6 massive jet engines that were mounted on a bow mounted airfoil. Don't remember much more than that.

I think with a model, being that they are so light, you'd have to walk a fine line to make it work.
