Since RCU is international, let's see how many languages we can get in this thread. English is already done. I'll start the ball rolling with this one, that few people here would know even though nearly all of us use products originating from this country:

I'll say Happy New Years & a big thank you to all the regulars in this forum. You have all taught me alot of things I didn't know in just the last few months. I am assembling the Dragon Lady ARF that I got for Christmas, & I realized the other nite that she is coming out straighter, truer, & cleaner than anything I have done to date. All because of lots of simple tips I've read & learned in these forums. Glueing the main wing halfs together with epoxy use to be a dreaded chore for me, because I didn't really know how to work with the stuff. It allways ended up In a gooey sticky mess oozing out onto the wing. A little masking tape around the edges, & some alcohol at the ready for a quick clean up & presto!, perfect wing joiner seam, no gaps whatsoever, & zero epoxy mess on the wing
. Even hinging the control surfaces has become a simple & easy task. I got a perfect hinge line, & proper gap on all surfaces with no mess or CA scorch marks on any of the covered surfaces thanks to a little something called debonder, again something I didn't even know existed. I know these things probably sound silly & automatic to most of you guys, but I didn't know any of these little tips before I got here. I thought I knew how to build a little bit because my Dad was such a great modeler for so many years, but it turns out we don't get to just inherit these skills, you actually have to pay attention & learn them. I didn't!! I'm paying attention now though, & it's paying off allready. I have several mods in mind for this plane too, all them good stuff, & all of them being an idea of one of you guys or another, here in RCU. So give yourselfs an Attaboy!!! You've taught me things inspite of my own ego! Thank you all for enlightening me & making this airplane my new favorite, & my best built as well.
Happy New Years & Again I thank you one & all. Keep teaching me all this good stuff, & don't let my bull-headedness get in the way!
