Sorry I didn't get to talk to you guys more after the meeting, I had to talk to Bob about a plane he wants me to build for him. Needed to finalize everything with him. It was good meeting both of you. Hope to see you at the field sometime.

No probs Doug, you did look busy, I didn't want to intrude but I didn't want to leave without at least saying hi to yall.
Everyone was very friendly (there was even another Brit there!) but mostly people were saying that there wasn't going to be much flying done until spring. Aaaagh.
It was great to put faces to names for the three of you, I hope we can fly together soon, if even only on G2.
Sal I'll PM you my cellphone, let me know if you're heading to the field at the weekend and I'll come and marvel at your skills and burn off a few tanks running mine in while I watch.

He gave it to me. He didn't have 2 dollars for the tickets so I geve him a buck. I'm building a 4*40 for him but we'll throw that engine in my youngets son's LT40 when I get back around to working on that. The wing has been done for 2 months now.

Alex, I'll call you when I go to the field. As for not flying till spring (I can't wait that long), as soon I can solo, I will be going every chance I get, the cold doesn't bother me

apward, don't worry, you'll be flying before spring.....
Sal, it's still a good club to join....it's worth it. And the Midway club is only $20 a year to join, so the two clubs combined aren't too bad.....
