Anyone used Fiber-Lite CF landing gear on their SSE before? Pondering going this route to get some extra height to have the option to run a larger prop.
Was also pondering some vented aluminum .40-.60 gear.
Thoughts?

There's nothing wrong with either of them and I'm sure both would work just fine. However, compared to the DuBro, the Fibre-Lite is about twice the cost. And I suspect the alum. gear weighs more.

Ended up picking up this set today - B.J.'S Manufacturing Vented 150 Landing Gear .40-.60

They're around 3oz where the stock are 2.35oz. A little heavier but these will be around 1-1.125" higher than the stock gear so running a larger prop will be less of an issue regarding ground clearance.
The fiber-lite weigh in at 1.7 oz. [X(]
