Which electric RC airplane that comes with everything needed to fly on the first day?
My dad used to fly RC gas planes but I want to get him into the little electric ones! He had one but it was very cheesy! Which one to get...it needs to be under $200.00!

When it comes to electrics, under $200 = kind of cheesey. Sorry, allthough there are a couple that look like the may perform ok for close to that budget. They are both brushless RTF's & for experienced fliers, they are not beginner planes. One is the Typhoon, & the other is a Mini Edge 540. The Typhoon is $209, the Edge is $249. They are both 3D type fliers. If you're interested I can find you the link for both of them & post it for you later today & you can check them both out. I don't have time to look them up right now. I gotta go to the Dr's, but I'll check your thread when I get back & I can do it for you then. Just let me know if you want them.

Or for more 3-d flying the Ultrafly models are great. They also have fast good looking jet electrics, or simple beginner types like a cessna. All are on Tower and are all cheap, as long as you don't use there perferred Ultrafly equipment and instead use Electrifly Great planes electric equipment, but that all depends on the plane. ARF or KIT

i know that this is an old thread now but i thought maybe my experience may help. i own a parkzone 190 and its a nice little flyer IF you have the experience under your belt to cope with it. there was no way i could have handled the 190 without having trained on an easier plane first and i was lucky i could borrow a friends super cub first. you might find you have your work cut out leaping stright into a p51 if you havent got the experience. futhermore its best to mention the subject of radio frequency, ive only had one serious accident and i suspect that was because parkzone use 27 MHz beware of interferance if you buy one of these it could be an issue
