I fly using a neck strap, but I thought that the ones that you can buy from Tower or the radio manufacturers were too expensive or I didn't like them for one reason or another. I went to the local music shop here in town and I picked up a saxophone strap for $2.99 and I love it. It's very comfortable on my neck and it was priced right.

any lanyard will work. I use a [link=http://www.footballfanatics.com/fanstore.taf?cmd=productDetails&itemrow=&itemgid=3 4&itemsgid=1399&itemssgid=&itempricerange=&itemsal e=&pid=98957&_UserReference=C0A86FD246B65EAC4CFB76 960FC043DD1F74]University of Alabama lanyard[/link], with a quick release hook on the end, instead of the keyring type.

I just use the one Futaba radios come with. Yet I always have the issue of my Dad yelling at me to take it off when im starting my engine. Suppose it would be bad to get it caught in a running engine![X(]

Great Planes (tower hobbies) is the Futaba distributor, they don't sell JR stuff.
Try http://www.horizonhobby.com thats the JR distributor or http://www.jrradios.com

at the swaps you could probably get them to GIVE you a strap as many do not use them .there are other sources. camera shops may have what your looking for.the strap is useful & you can relax but, as was mentioned, it can be a hazard around spinning objects!
