Ok guys, here i go again with some more newbie questions
1) How do you start an engine, so far this is what i think..( Put gas, turn on reciever and trans. ,and then flip prop )..not sure which way to flip it though???clockwise or counter??
2) I am still not sure how i am going to set up my landing gear wheather its two in back and one in front or opposite, but i was wondering whichever one i choose, do i really need to set up the single wheel with a servo so that it will turn. I am having lots of trouble finding a way to do that. Can i just put it on and let it turn loose by itself so it will turn with the rudder???
Thanks again

You know... more than anything... your post tells me that you are trying to learn this hobby by yourself - perhaps after flying a sim for the last three months.... feel free to correct me. [
]
This is why you NEED an INSTRUCTOR, to hold you hand and walk you through the basics.
There is nothing wrong or embarrassing about it - we ALL had an instructor when we started...
If you are asking these questions now - I can just imagine your next post... "The plane got airborne and it just rolled to the left and crashed - WHAT HAPPENED???"
An instructor on a buddy box will be able to correct that and save you an AC... and quite possibly keep you from getting p-ssed off at a GREAT hobby [&o]
Find a Club, join it.
Find an Instructor - learn from him.
Enjoy the Hobby!

Joshua,
What the others have told you should be followed. Definitely get an instructor before you do anything. There is a lot more to the hobby than just flying. Number 1 is safety. There are a lot of things you need to know before you even think about starting the engine. Do you know what fuel to use? Has the engine been brolen in? Have your surfaces been checked for proper deflection? The preflight process should take several minutes, but you need to know what to look for. An instructor will not only teach you to fly but how to be safe on the ground before you fly. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get an instructor. Not only for your safety but for the safety of others.

Don't forget the glow plug ignitor, and how to prime it properly, and how to backflip it instead of flipping it through compression, and how to get your fingers out of the way, and, well, the list goes on, and on, and on--get an instructor to help you.
