Default Tiger Moth on Floats

I have recently built a 40 size Tiger Moth! I'd like to know how these planes do as float flyers. We have an upcoming float flying event and I was wondering if I could use this plane.

Do any of u have a Tiger Moth on floats?

you should post in seaplanes and you will get tons of answers... I was looking into getting a tiger moth for a float plane and everyone I talked to said it was a very good one to use. Just find the right sz floats.

http://www.foamfloats.com/

That link is to Foam Floats, now for some reason the site is inactive right now but says they plan to be back up in March. Once they are back up you can use their float calculator. Enter the planes dimensions & weight & it will tell you what size floats you need. March isn't far away, so hopefully you'll be able to use the link in just a few more weeks, Good luck

Where in Namibia can you hold a float fly?

Dear Kmot

Where in Namibia can you hold a float fly?

Namibia may be largely a desert country, but we do have perranial rivers, lakes, dams, pans, lagoons and swamps as well. Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channels largely concentrate on the desert, because the Namib desert is the oldest desert in the world, but that there is much more to Namibia than that! The Namib is only along the coast line!!

I live in the interior, in the capital city, Windhoek, which is about 4hrs drive from the desert. If you want I'll mail you some pictures of what our country looks like in the part where I live!

I hope this fills you in!

Happy Flying!
