Default Fun Flyer

I want to build a 40 size fun flyer from scratch. Does anybody have plans that are not too hard to build. I'm a first time scratch builder, I've only built ARFs in the past. Any recommendations would be welcome!

Do yourself a favor, get a cheap Kit.

There is a LOT to learn about building, and building from a Kit will help you avoid many mistakes!

What Minn said,,or if you wanna go scratch try a 1/2a model for an .049 first,,there are loads of them...go to the 1/2a forum and look a a guy named Fritzke he has plans online plus there are a few others a 1/2a bipe and a 1/2A trainer....Rog

Your first build (or two) should be from a kit. Learn just what is involved in assembling a plane and all of the parts and types of wood involved. Cutting out all of those pieces is not as easy as you might think for the first time but it can be done of course.
