Hi all, I am having problems starting my engine. It starts up and then quits.....can someone tell me how to adjust the needle valve? Thanks for the help.

Open needle 2 and 1/2 turns. Turn on transmitter & receiver. Fully open throttle. Place thumb over carb air inlet and turn prop a few revolutions by hand, until fuel fills line to carb.
IMPORTANT-Reduce throttle to 1/3. Put glow plug igniter on and start engine.

No. Not clicks. Close the needle valve completely first (clockwise). Be careful and just turn it until it stops with no real pressure (too much pressure on some engines will bend the spray bar). It should be 2 complete turns (360 degrees each) and another 1/2 turn (180 degree). Some engines require as much as 3 turns. It sounds as if the engine is burning the prime and then quitting.

We have to know what size/kind of engine it is. Some need up to 4 turns.
