I thought I'd post this over here for you guys to see. Now that I've bought mine, that is.
Someone may have already posted this, but I didn't see it, so here goes.
http://www.hobby-lobby.com/telemaster-mini.htm
I'm putting a throttled Cox engine on mine. Anything up to a Norvel .074 should work fine and keep the weight low. Keeping the weight low is necessary to making a good 1/2a trainer. A throttle would be nice, and 1/2a throttles don't get any nicer than the Norvel .074 and Thunder Tiger .07 (or so I've heard. Never owned the TT myself) The instructions in the box have the reputation of not being the most clear, but with this forum or the 1/2a forum for support, success is all but guaranteed!
You can't beat the price, unless you put a brushless/lipo setup in it. Then the value just got tossed out the window, but you'll still have a very nice airplane! But, I bet you already have a Cox engine... don't you?

I can't believe you'd say that after the blimp imitation my DNU! did during the race.
I put covering on the firewall and it detached. Choked the poor little Surestart down to a buzz. I'm finishing my pylon entry right now. I've got two "Blinks" here. One for the reedie race and one for the unlimited. Actually, the Mini Telemaster is going to be used as an "intro" plane for the club with me as the copilot. Hey, did they REALLY think I would build something bigger?![8D]

Bringing it up to the next fly-in? Is that your next pylon entry?
