Default What's up with Airtronics?

Does anyone know what's going on with Airtronics? They have almost no frequencies available for their transmitters recievers and flight packs on Tower. I went to my LHS, and managed to get them to order a 49 crystal from another distributor, but they only had one left! What's goin on? [sm=confused.gif]

Did you consider ordering directly from Airtronics off of their website? [link=http://www.airtronics.net]www.airtronics.net[/link] I did a quick check just now and they show all frequencies available. A lot of times distributors like Tower will be out of a particular frequency because they don't reorder just because they are out of one or two items. They may wait and order only several times a year, which could mean that they are limited on frequencies if you catch them at the wrong time. I've ordered directly from Airtronics several times and have had nothing but outstanding service.

Hope this helps

Ken

I just found out that Brian Tucker has left Airtronics! The new go to guy is Bobby Tom! He seems to be as helpful and responsive as Brian was. I doubt this has much to do with anything, just interesting to note.

I have always had trouble with my 23... Towers had it only once when I was ordering,
But it's no problem else where.. But I really don't mind, People at the field most the
time uses towers..... :-).... I usually say how hard it is to get 23 from towers......
I never have to wait to fly.....
