well i got my thrilljunkies.com piper cub in the mail yesterday. once i got it. i put it together and let the battery charge. Today i took her to the park for my very first RC flight. it took a little getting use to the 3ch plane since this is my very first rc plane. had a few close calls with the ground. then i realized i forgot to turn the throttle back down after my hand launch. everything was good after that. i tried to do a landing and it was pretty hard. it tumbled and now the rear of the foam fuselag is in 2 pieces. anybody recommend anything good to fix it? even though its broke im still satisfied with my 1 minute flight for my first time out.

The mfg recommends this plane for advanced pilots, small wonder it gave you some problems.

Instead of fixing the fuselage, consider a replacement part for only $15.

You can probably fix yours at least once though with some "Foam safe" CA. You'd want medium or thick CA for this.

Consider your options and welcome to RC.

i bought it on ebay so it was wayyy cheaper than all the other trainers out there. although they recommended it for advanced pilots it wasn't really hard. i think the hard landing was caused by a gust of wind. cause all of a sudden it just blew over.
