Default Are EPA's....?

Hello all,
Got a question. Are EPA adjustments on a radio carried over when a student box is being used via a trainer system.
Thanks
-John

it depends. on the 9c you can set the trainer box for on off or function. function allows for the 9c to pass on its mixes and trim settings. on is just a straight thru setting trims and reverses are not passed on

Same way with pretty much all of the JR computer radios--it's called pilot link.

Let me clarify what I'm asking. Master box is a hitec flash 5x, slave box is a unpower'd non computer futaba. The hitec box has epa's set. If the student box has control, and the gimbal values r sent to the master box, does the master box use the programmed epas before transmitting the signal.
Thanks

I experiance has been no with all low to mid range futaba, everything below a 9z and 9c and all of hitec. Settings between the master and slave box have to be set independently that inclues EPA, servo direction trim and what ever mixes may be present.

Striderjg,
I also use a Flash V and Futaba slave.
The EPAs seem to transfer, the dual rates do NOT transfer.
I set my plane up how I wanted it on low rates and on the slave I had a lot of travel that I didn't want.
I re-setup the plane without dual rates and that seemed to work.
Good Luck,

Thanks everyone,
I'm glad that the EPA's seem to work. I would have been suprised if they designed it for them not to have a effect. I will double check though in anycase when I get my switches. Hitec sent them snail mail. Grr. THey said they would ship priority. Oh well.
