Well I got the plane and it is real nice , I got it pre built with the .70 OS engine on it and I tell you what ..That engine is JUNK compared to Siato ... I also have a Funtana 40 with a Siato 82 and it flat blows the Modeltech 3D away .
The guy who sold me the plane did one of the WORST job's ive seen , gas tank was flopping around , and he even left fule in it "who knows how long" and 2 tears in the wing ... I think I got a prro deal on this but im happy with the plane itself .

Well maybe I have a bad engine , or I got WAY over spoiled with the Siato .82 The Siato is the BEST thing I have ever spent any money on , in the RC world .

The non surpass 70 is a pain with the airbleed carb. I do not own one but saw a couple at the field and IMO not worth saving the few dollars on it. The 70 surpass on the otherhand is a nice motor and i do have one (along with my saitos

burgh_guy61,
I know exactly what you mean, and that's why I've asked. I've owned one (and just one) OS engine with an airbleed carb on it, and I can assure that I'll never own another one!!
They are a super pain in the neck to adjust the low end!!!!!

The fl-70 has the air bleed carb and a plastic back plate.

I have the OS 70 Surprass FS engine ... I finally have it dialed in real good but I can tell you Siato blows this away by far . Im shocked this plane can even fly with so little power of this engine .
