Flew my first airplane today, the Skyfly by Hobbico. It flew great after I let it pick up speed before turning. My first flight was rough. Made an immediate right turn and at about 20 feet it stalled and crashed. No big deal. A couple dings in the wind and that was all. I put some packing tape over the leading edge so the broken chunk would stay in (probably not the best idea but thought it was better than duct tape), balanced it, re-charged the battery and was ready to cut loose again. This time I flew it with ease, after building up some speed I made a couple turns. Lazy circles were mastered by the time the battery got weak and after a couple more charges and flights I am doing some tighter turns and feel I can handle it pretty well. I flew it in about a 5mph wind and probably would not try any faster but I think it will handle it. It flies pretty slow into that amount of wind but will cruise pretty good with it, I had to limit throttle as it tended to pitch up as it sped up. I stalled it going with the wind and subsequently nose dived it into the ground from about 50 feet. No damage. Thank God for the tall grass. Did a few accidental low-speed cartwheels when the juice got low, still no damage. Just picked it up and tossed it again. Fun, fun, fun. My hobby shop has plenty of spare parts for when I test its limits so I'm set. Its a blast to fly and at around 100 bucks I have no complaints. Only did one take-off from the ground in a nearby parking lot. With about half the juice out of the battery and starting about 25 feet on the gravel (not enough tar for the run) got it off the ground in about 50 feet. It was slow but it went. Overall it looks like a toy out of the box but has enough power to get you out of any trouble you may get into. It was recommended to me by the guy at the hobby store and I'm glad I got it. For all of you looking to get into this hobby the Skyfly can put a smile on your face.

My mistake, didn't mean to post this twice. I didn't see it on the forum after I posted it before so I wrote it again. Although I can reinforce that its a fun airplane and am re-charging the battery to take it out agian.
