the antennae is very important. It is your only link with your model. It is cheaper to replace it then the whole model. Antennas length is calculated and tuned by the frequency they are transmitting. If the length is not correct then power does not fully radiate from the unit but some gets reflected back internally resulting in over heating and poorer performance. antennas are cheap models are not. cheaping out on a model is not cheap. I run powermaster 20/20 in my 2 strokes all the time no problems. I run 4 strokes 95% of the time and am too lazy to change fuel when I run my 2 strokes. what glow plug are you using. Try changing it to a new one and recheck your tuning, the plug could be borderline functional and require the engine to run real hot to ensure operation. I do not know what the oil is in your fuel but if it is synthetic then running the engine hot is very bad because synthetic does not protect and engine as well as caster oil when it is overheated

I don't use the pinch test, I've never found it reliable enough. Instead I point the plane vertical with the engine at full throttle and hold it that way for about 10 seconds. If it slows down, it's too lean. If it stays the same speed it's still too lean. If it speeds up a little and holds that it's about right. If it speeds up a bunch, it may be a bit too rich.
Chuck, I want to see you try that with one of my helis!

Nope, not me! I had my venture into helis a long time ago. Decided I'm more interested in flying than wrenching. I'm perfectly content to watch others do amazing things with them.
