2nd day flying... ever..
To my instructors dismay.. I soloed today.
with a 10-15mph Gusts I told him. I didnt drive 40 min to come stand around all day.. lets fly.
(yesterday I took off and did landing NO problem being a first time flyer and today we moved upto "IF" manuvers.. Ie putting the plane upside down facing towards me in a stall type stuff.
After a few "bail out" manuvers and me quickly getting out of them he said.. Yanno what Im not going to lie. You have amazed and surpassed any and all of the people i have instructed thus far and you are so quick that i really dont know what else to try with you.
So he offered not trying to "push" me along.. that if i could do 3 sucessfull take offs/pattern/landings he would let me go on my own.
SO after 5 concurrent sucessfull flights... he said. go for it if you want.
so i grabbed my controler.. fueled and preflighted..
Away i went.. on my 2nd day of flying ever.. probably after 8 or 9 flights total with an instructor "having never needed him to really take control" I had made my solo flight... And landed in one peice..
Was quite.. well undescribable.. After i pitted the plane and shut it off.. I was greeted with hand shakes of everyone there simply amazed.
SO.. maybe next weekend it will be practice makes perfect and some light aerobatics.. =)
So.. Wow =) i cant even describe how i feel or where to go next... is truly quite that fun

Thanks alot guys =) Apparently my years of hardcore gaming and needing for instant reactions has made me well suited for seeing and doing rapid adjustments for flying rc's =)
