Hi flyers,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to calculate wing loading for a plane. Im assuming its a simple formula that i can just plug-in my planes weaight and wing area, etc.
Any help would be appreciated thanks!

If you have a plane that weighs 99 oz. and has a wing area of say 750 sq. in here is the math.....
750/144= 5.208333333
Now divide the weight (99 oz.) by 5.2083333 and you should get something like 19.00000 and that will be your wing loading - about 19 oz. per one square foot of area.
Hope this helps.
