Default Plane Launcher (s)?

Are there plane launchers for sale or do people build their own?

My plane launcher is called a runway. What did you have in mind? Are you talking about hand launching small planes?

I am looking for a launcher for a Firebird Freedom. The park I fly at is all grass, really no place to take off and I have a physical limitation that prevents me from hand launching

Thanks for the help

I had a glider a long time ago that had a stake you put in the ground and attached to that was a real long rubber band. Are you talking about something like that?

Another option:
Change the main gear wheels. The stock wheels are much too small for grass but wire wheels like on the Slo-V or Slow Stick (about 1-1/2" dia.) will work fine. Several people at my club fly small electrics with those same wheels and have no problems with grass runways, taking off or landing.

GunfighterII,

What is the name of that launcher, or did you build it?
