I restarted the hobbie. I ordered about half dozen pieces and parts (common) from Tower. It took about two months to get all I ordered. The last one was some stoppers for the fuel tank. This certainly is not an unusual part.
Is this common for them and is there a better place to shop? Seems they went down hill from a few years ago!

That is unusual. I consistently get 2-3 day turnaround. There are alternatives. One of Tower's big competitors is Horizon Hobbies. They used to be Indy-RC. Hobby Lobby is still around. Hobby Shack is now called Hobby People
