Is a os 61 fx too much engine for an Alpha 60 trainer ?
I've been told aileron flutter will result due to the dihedral at higher speeds.
Would it be friendly as long as i didn't go too fast ?
the engine weight is relatively the same and I'd like the extra power in reserve,
but not at the cost of tearing the wings off.
Just a first time beginner, trying to do my homework.
All comments appreciated,
thank you.[8D]

A .91FX would work fine in a .60 size trainer. You don't have to be like a flying buddy of mine who uses the throttle like an on/off switch. He started the hobby flying control line and never changed.

I'm sorry for the mix up I meant a os 91 like in the title. thanks for the feedback.
If i didn't go full throttle, could i use the 91 though?
the weight difference is a mere .01 oz, but propeller diameter comes into play.
Can someone take a quick measurement on their alpha 60 and give me the largest dia. prop that's practical ?
If the smallest dia .91 prop is larger than the max clearence on the alpha 60, there's no point in looking any further.
thanks again for the input.
