Hi. I was recently given a Kyoshi Trainer 40. I've been advised to get a Super Tigre 51 engine.
So, my question is what other equipment do I need? I've started a list but want to make sure it is complete so I don't go out into the field without essential equipment. The next thing will be learning how to use it all
1. Fuel pump (hand pump or electric)
2. Battery and charger
3. Power panel
4. Glow plug starter
5. Glow plugs
Anything else?
Thanks in advance

Fuel, electric starter, and an experienced instructor if this is your first plane.Engine wont run without fuel, starter helps save fingers and instructor will better your chances of taking it home in 1 piece.Good luck and keep us posted on your progress

Here is a picture of a simple flight box with a plan to build it. It shows the basics. One thing I didn't see on your list were any screw drivers, pliers, wrenches, etc. Get a glow plug wrench.

Rubber bands for your wing, get plenty of those. They are only good for so many flights and start getting weak, if fuel residue gets on them they weaken quicker.
You will need something to wipe the residue off your plane after flying.
I use baby wipes, other people use windex (window cleaner) and paper towels.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a couple of extra props handy as well.
Of course the appropriate tools for everrything. I have a pair of hemostats in my box and use them quite often.

I have an electric fuel pump ,but one day at the field
it stopped pumping. Come to find out the inside gear broke.
Got myself a new electric pump and a hand pump for back up.
