Hi All
I've just bought a tuned pipe for my new ASP 52. I don't know much about tuned pipes, but I've heard that the pipe has to be cut to the correct length for a specific engine to obtain optimal performance. At the moment the tuned pipe and header are still at their original length, and as such the engine performs better with its original exhaust that with the tuned pipe.
Any ideas as to getting the correct length of tuned pipe to suite my engine?
Thanks

Is this a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine? If it's a 2 stroke, the best writeup on tuning that I've found is on the Macs Products site: http://www.macspro.com/tuning.asp .

Chuck, Thanks for putting up that link to Mac's, They have some good tuning info there, & their pumpless smoke system is very tempting & priced right!! I wasn't aware of any such system available that would work on the smaller 2 cycle engines. That's great to know!![sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]
