Hey Guy's
Been away from the sport for awhile, finally built my Tequila Sunrise 25 after 2 years. My first ARF. I have installed the biggest engine for this model a 28 Magnum XL,
I'm having problems with throttling down, I set the high speed Jet or needle with full throttle on works great then when I want to throttle down shuts off.
any help much appricated
many thanks

I'm not exactly familar with the 28 magnum, but most glow engines have either two needle valves (high-speed and low-speed) and one needle valve and an air bleed. The larger needle valve is for the high speed. The low-speed NV (or idle NV) is often located inside the throttle barrel and must be accessed with a very small striaght-bit screwdriver. You are probably too lean on the low speed NV. If your engine has an air-bleed, then this is used to adjust the idle mixture.

DON'T mess with the low speed yet, that usually makes more problems then you have now. Readjust your throttle control linkages, and set your trim lever so it doesn't cut off first. If your not sure how > get someone to give you a hand. ENJOY !!! RED
