Has anyone made a tail dragger out of the Sky Raider Mach 1? If so, I would appreciate any advise or instruction.

I personally have not and if no one comes back with a way to do it just do a search for converting the LT-40 into a taildragger. It will be very much the same thing

Yes, I have done that on mine. Since the rudder does not extend down beneath the horizontal stab, there is no easy way to just attach a tail wheel to the rudder. So, I ran a separate pushrod from the rudder servo out to the tail to drive the tailwheel. Mine has been going strong for 2 years and I like it. For the main gear, I used an aluminum gear I had in my "treasure box". I epoxied in a plywood mounting plate in the fuse and put in a couple of blind nuts to hold the gear. Works great!

I know this isnt of the Sky Raider, but of an LT-40 conversion that I did 2 years ago. You will have to do what Jim Dines was refering too, the addition of a seperate push rod for the tail wheel
