Take about 1/3 of the runway to advance the throttle, this minimizes the "torque turning" effect, making it easier to keep the plane pointed straight.
If you slap the throttle from idle to full, I can just about guarantee the plane will turn 90 deg or more.
Practice some with taxiing and work up to the speed where the tail lifts.
That's about the most important hints you can get when learning to handle taildraggers.
