Default Tiger pro ,61 adjustement

Hi, I'm looking for somebody who had the manual for this engine. I'd like to get the specs for the low idle adjustment.

Thanks for your help.

Start on the HSN with about 2.5-3 turns out and the LSN about 3 turns out. The low and high end should be a little rich. What you do is to start the engine up (runs fine with a 12x6, 12x8 13x6, 14x4W) and tune her to the maximum revs then ease off by say 3-4 clicks. Now you have to check the low end, let it idle and then throttle up, if it cuts abruptly the low end is to lean, if it gurgles a little and hesistates ... its too rich.

Another way it to let the engine idle and then remove the fuel tubing. If the engine gains RPMs before quitting then its too rich and if it loses RPMs before quitting its too lean.

This will just set the base line for your engine, best is when you fly her. I always check engine head temp when I land, I like to keep my engines to about 230F.

G'day Mate,
You don't need to remove the fuel tubing to set the low end mixture, just run it up to full revs, & get it well warmed up, then throttle down to idle, & CAREFULLY, squeeze off the fuel tube to the carby, you can use fingers or forceps to squeeze the tube, & listen to the motor, if it picks up a lot of revs, before slowing, it is rich, so lean it about 1/8th of a turn, turn it in (clockwise). If it just stops, it is too lean, & the reverse applies. It should just increase a few revs, before slowing, then it is perfect. Be aware that if it is rich, & you lean it a bit, you will need to reduce your idle speed because it will probably speed up a bit at idle.

Just like this guy said.
