I have a TT46FX and have been using an 11/6 but the instructions say a 10/7 is better suited.
In a nut shell I guess 11 is the diameter and the 6 is the pitch
What difference would you see between say 11/6 and 10/7 how do the different props effect performance??
Thanks in advance!

10/7 will give you more speed but less thrust. If you fly off a grass strip you may notice a decrease in takeoff performance with the 10/7. The 11/6 should give you better vertical. Both props load the engine about the same, so feel free to experiment and see which prop you like better.

Due to less loading, you will get more RPM from a 10/7 compared to a 11/6. You will also get the speed and thrust benefits stated by Flyfalcons. As far as loading, I do not agree with him.

Geist, when I went from a 10/7 to an 11/6 on my 46FX I noticed very little RPM change on the ground. I do agree, though, that in the air the 10/7 will unload a little more.
