WOW Not a lot of room in there.
Your servos will hook up like this.

Out put #1 AILERON This will probably NOT be used in your case.
Out put #2 ELEVATOR
Out put #3 THROTTLE
Out put #4 RUDDER
#'s 5,6,7 are not used
Out put #8 on/off switch. Red end goes to the receiver, the other goes to the battery pack and charger.

..I'll just add that the rudder is usually connected to the aileron channel if you don't have ailerons.

Jason- I believe what you have is 'Diamond Demon' designed by Jerry Stoloff in 1938. Originally Kitted by Bay Ridge here in the U.S. Ben Buckle in the U.K. still kits it and I'm sure that yours came from one of his kits. It would be an excellent trainer. You do not need ailerons. Jim

Looks like a small plane. I'll bet its designed to take a non throttled engine. A lot of the 1/2 A are non throttled 3 channel...very popular. Perhaps you could find room for a mini servo for the throttle. Just a thought...

Jason, you can use any radio setup that has at least three channels. If you think you might progress into more sophisticated planes, you might consider one with at least 4 channels. As far as the covering goes, I'm not much of an expert. Some coverings will take coatings, such as dope, while others you just leave alone. I've used Nelson's light fab and with that you don't have to coat it and it shrinks with a heat gun. You might let an expert look at it, maybe a hobby shop, and go from there.
