Default weight, before engine?

When a company gives you the weight of their arf, is that before you mount your engine? Thanks

It depends on the company a lot of times. But most of the time they will give you the weight of the plane using the recommended engine. For instance, I recently reviewed the Model Tech Mach Racer. The specs on the plane said 57 ounces, which converts to 3.5 pounds. The final weight of the plane ready to fly (no fuel) was 60 ounces, or 3.75 pounds. That also included my radio gear too.

Hope this helps

Assemble The ARF With Radio And Engine And Test The Posion Of The CG Dry And BAllance So It Is A Little Nose Heavy.I First Move The BAttey Around To Get The CG In The Wrigh Place. It Is Better To Remove Weigh After The First Flight Then To Find Out You Need It!!!! [X(]
