Default help on choosing new plane

I am looking to get a new plane, I have been flying a 3 channel electric sailplane and would like to move up. Looking for a good thermal flier that is strong to take rough landing and maybe limited aerobatics and large wing span. Looking at staying with 3 channel (since that is all Hitech Neon transmitter can do). Either in electric on non-motorized. Since I am asking for help, how about one in 4 channel set up in case I move up to a better transmitter. Thanks in advance, Nikolai

I see you are not getting a lot of reponse to your question here. I think that may be due to the fact that here in the beginners forum we mostly fly glow with some electrics too but predominantly glow powered planes. You might want to try posting your questions in the Rc Gliders, Sailplane, & Slope Soarers forum. At least there eveyone will be into the same type of planes that you fly. I would think they would have a lot more info than we have here about gliders. Personally while I have 3 or 4 of them that my Dad gave me years ago, I know nothing about gliders & have never bothered to try and fly any of them. I think you will have better luck there. Good luck, I hope you find the info you're looking for.
