Indoor trainer for B&G Club
Hi,
The Boys and Girls Club in McAlester Oklahoma is going to start an RC club for kids and asked me to give some ideas. However they are going to be flying inside and need a few small trainers. Unfortunatly I only have experience with glow planes and a Zagi. They have an empty building with an open area of 8 basketball courts so flying room isnt a terrible issue.
What I need are suggestions and prices for good (STURDY) indoor planes. There will be somewhere between 15-20 kids in the club so it will need to take a lot of abuse.
Thanks,
Collin Kasparek
Oh ya, I'll be needing an indoor plane as well...which fly's better, the [link=http://www.hobby-lobby.com/animal.htm]Nikitis Animal[/link]
or the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJYS1]GP Reflection[/link]?

RE: Indoor trainer for B&G Club
For indoor flight, GWS is normally the first name that comes to mind:

The ARFs are so inexpensive as to be almost disposable. The planes fly very well. The electronics that complement the IPS are just as inexpensive as the rest of the plane. You can use the planes with regular transmitters and buddy boxes to train the kids.
The GWS ARFs would also provide the opportunity to teach basic model building skills to the kids, as well.
