Hi
I recently purchased a Begin-air (or Wing Dragon Sportster) and despite many people on this and other forums saying it is not a beginners plane I have had no problems with it. I can do loops and rolls easily, and have only crashed it once in poor light when I couldn't tell which way it was facing. I am looking to get a more acrobatic plane. It should be ARF or RTF, electric and fly in a fairly small area. Does anyone have any thoughts on the UltraRC Katana S or one of the other 3d Buddies? Is it much harder to fly than the Begin-air? Also is there any need to change the stock tx I got with the Beginair? I haven't had any problems with it but I don't know how useful it would be to be able to mix ie flaperons.
Thanks

IMO the Katana is too big a step from the Begin-Air.
BTW who said the Begin-air was not a good trainer? I see nothing wrong with it.
Try something like this, it will be more forgiving.

You are not getting much response here because the majority of the people here are not really into electrics and those that are either have no comment or haven't progressed far enough to help.
You may try posting this in the electrics forum.

Best luck
