I have a 9.6V/ 600 mah nicad transmitter battery. It is running in a JR 8103 tx.
Question1: When it's fully charged, how many volts do you typically see?
Question2: How low should I let the voltage get before I recharge?
The TX has a low battery warning at 9.0V.

about 11 volts.
Low warning at 9.0v sounds about right.
I never get that low myself. I am using a 2100 mah NiMH battery in mine and I rarely get below 10 volts (that is after several days of flying)

Fresh off the charger it my read 11 volts or more. Not long after it will show anywhere from 10 to 10.8 volts. It should level off at about 10 volts and very slowly go down from there It should last over 2 hours after a full charge. I would not wait for the alarm to quit flying.

My Feedback: (11)
Get a NiMH pack from someone like Hangtimes with 1650 or whatever they are selling these days, I did that with my 9C when I started flying my glider along with my helis, a couple of good glider flights and my tx was on the charger, now I fly all weekend w/o even thinking about it.
