For starters, any of the biplanes are not good for beginners.
That said, what exactly are you looking for?
Electric? Glow? indoor flyer? Park flyer? Bigger to fly at a club field?

I agree bipes arent for beginners.
Missleman is correct You see that extra wing adds alot of drag, alot easier to stall.

Have fun

If you mean glow powered then any of the Lazy Ace's (three sizes), BalsaUSA Phaeton's (two sizes) and the Sig Hog
Bipe are all very nice and fly like trainers. They do not stall any easier than the monoplanes--in fact not as easy as most-- yet can be set up to be very aerobatic. Anyone would be an excellent choice. The only precaution you need when going to bipes is to watch the incidence on the wings relative to the stab and elevator.

There are a couple of nice versions of the SE-5a to consider, both glow and electric:

Both of these are semi-scale sport versions of the classic WWI biplane.

No bipe is good for a beginner. Walk before you run.
