Saito FA100
#1
Hello folks,
i'm looking at install a FA100 into a plane i'm building and wondering what type of motor mounts you've used in the past? I'm pretty sure the Dave Brown FS90 will work but are there any others that are any better?
Also, what size of bolts did you use to mount it to the firewall(will be using the blind nuts with them)
thanks for listening...

I've been very happy with the Dave Brown. I drill the mount arms and tap for 6-32 hex head bolts, grind a flat spot on the bottom of the arms, then put locking nuts with washers on the ends of the bolts. Rock solid, never had anything come loose.

swixtt... I just used what they had listed, which I think was 8-32 Blind Nuts/bolt
No problems to date... On my Showtime/YS-110 I got a bit longer bolts(Ace) and
added locknuts also... Not sure why, but that's what I did....
