For a second plane I want to follow the advice of everyone here and get a "Stik". I've been looking at GP Big Stik and Giant Stik. H9 Also has the Ultra Stik.
However, a bazillion people at the field already have the standard red stick with the black crosses. I guess that is why they used to call them Ugly Stiks.
I know I could either build and cover myself or re-cover an ARF, but can anyone recommend a different looking stik that is good but not as popular at the field? (ARF or RTF)
Thanks

You could go with the stik biplane. http://cedarhobbies.net/index.php?id...esc&product=27 I plan on getting one of these someday when the cash is flowing.

Looks pretty cool, but need something bigger.
But, speaking of Bipes...
How easy or hard to fly is this plane?

H-9 Ultra sticks are hard to beat.
I have the .40 size but there are several larger ones. They are GREAT second planes. And...H-9 makes good quality ARF's. If you get the .40 size, I recommend the OS .46 AX and an 11x6 prop. It will hover, but it WILL NOT pull straight-up out of a hover.
In fact the only way out of a hover is straight down so practice high.
