Hi everyone,
I have just finished work on a WM T-34 mentor. I have yet to solo but this will be coming soon. This plane should be flying soon, I have been told that it is an excellent second plane and a good first low wing. This plane is intended for the california triangle series of races, and now I have the entire winter to practice before hand.
She has the O.S. 46 AX engine in it and boy what a great engine she is, I had her in my Alpha for a week and the difference in power between the O.S. and Evo (which I no long use as it was trouble) is hugeI expect this will shift with the 11x7 sport prop.
Well I just wanted to show her off.
Happy landings

Indeed I do fly at SCCMAS and I think it is a great field, I am normally down there on a Saturday morning although this week I will be down there on Sunday. Alot do have T-34's including my instructor, I can't wait to get it flying.
I am sure I will see you down there at some time soon, my T-34 was intended to stand out from the crowd, so you should recognise it. Say hi if you do.

Well I am an expat brit so I am use to cold wet winters, anything else, well that must be flying wheather.
I have only been flying since the spring, and have had many delays, including the flying site being unaccessable for about a month, and some lost weeks due to the Evo TPS not wanting to be helpful. The point here is that I asked if people can fly in winter and was told it is possible, I expect some days when i can't [&o]. But I should get a reasonable amount of practice so I don't show myself up
