Default ROYAL 40 T WEIGHT?

I have just finisihed installing the radio gear in a 40 T. My question, why so heavy? I have had a 1/6th scale Beaver, and I I have a 1/6th scale cub and bothe seemed much lighter. I am sure it will fly fine, but I never realized ARF's, this is my first one would be so beefy. I guess that is why it is a trainer. I hope it is tough, the last kit build scared the soybeans so much that they shot back. Gravity does not like me.
