ME HAVING A AMAZING TIME!
Plane was unbelievable.. rolls as faster then you can count, able to turn on a dime... and give you 9 cents change...
Beyond a shadow of a doubt am I in love with this plane.
I definitly had a few eyes on me when i was flying.. a few wispers were heard... "Didnt he just start this season... and hes doing Stuff like that?"
Hey.. what can i say... when a man gets hot on somthing.. he gets hot. =)
Maiden went well.. few clicks of trim here and there... and it was flying straight as an arrow. Didnt really get nuts on it yet. just did the basics and it was smooth sailing from there =)
Cant wait till the next time i hit the skys!

You scared the crap out of me Dorsil. I saw the title of your post and thought "Oh no!". It's great things went good. Congrats on the successful maiden. Next time out, try taking off from and landing on a picnic table.

Congratulations, you are
now an official twistaholic. The twist is a great aircraft. I hope you have as much fun as I have had with mine. It will teach you many things.

My Feedback: (32)
Back when I had mine it was a blast, I used the Tazmanian Devil for the pilot figure. I thought it was pretty fitting for that plane. Mine started life on an OS46AX turning an APC 12.25X3.75 and it was a blast. I later stuffed and I do mean stuffed a SAito 82 into it and all I can say is OMG. I have a hard time keeping it still on the grass runwya until the engine broke in and I was able to get a very slow idle plus I had to raise the gear to get prop clearance.
There is an old but HUGE thread over in the 3D forum on this plane. Grab your favorite beverage and read it, you'll learn a lot. It may be buried pretty deep in the 3D forum as I have not seen a post for it for a long time

Congratulations,
I am glad things went well with your Twist.
We have a couple of guys that fly them and they really seem to be very responsive.

The twist was one of my favorite planes so far. My flying style has changes but it sure did teach me a bunch to. The darn thing rolls so fast. It is a real easy plane to fly but be careful not to land it to hard becasue it WILL break the tail off. I know this to be true because I brole mine off at least 4 times and finally gave it away.
Have a ball,
Dave
