i have a hi tech optic 6 tx. it has worked great. this weekend when flying i ran into a problem when i gave my plane up elevator it would also give it right airleron. fortunatly a guy at the field was able to land the plane safely. upon groud check we could not get it to repeat the problem. everything seemed normal. the guy then hit the trainer switch wich instantly gave the plane up elevator-right aileron-and right rudder. he said the trainer switch should not have any effect on the plane and there must be something wrong. i tried my other plane and it did the same thing with the trainer switch. i flew it but it did not appear to have any in flight issues. so is my tx about to crap the bed or could i just have an off setting in the tx. or something else help...

Here is a couple of thoughts.
If you had too much elevator, then the plane will roll one way or the other.
This is normal and should be expected.
Second, without a trainer connected, hitting the trainer switch just may move the controls to there open circuit position.
Again, this is normal and should not cause a problem.
