Default Battery Charging

Hey Folks,

I am an absolute beginner but have been trying to educate myself as much as I can about batteries, charging, etc.

My question is, can I charge my field box battery from the panel? If so, which set of plug holes do I use? My panel has starter, pump, glow starter, etc.

Also, is it ok to use solderless banana clips or should I use the solder type? I need to replace the ones on the fuel pump.

Many thanks.

Herd

solder type are better, but either will work,i charge my battery from the 12 volt starter female plugs.i made up two banana clips just for this.i would always check the battery connections in your flight box just for safety's sake.

Thanks Horace315.

The charger that I have has alligator clips on it so I'll just change them to banana plugs.

Don't want to "fry" anything.
