How do you lock a thread? Are you one of the people that started this great site? Just curious. I think what you did to the thread with the Australians was a good idea.

Locking is done by the moderators, administrators, and upper management of RCU. It's one of the tools that we have for managing the forums.

No, I didn't start RCU. RCU was actually started by Marc Vigod and Michael Kranitz. I'm not sure how long it's been around but I think it was started sometime around 2000 or so. I'm just another happy hobbyist trying to help out around here!!!

That photo was taken back in the late 1930's. I found one from around 1949 or so.
