Default Plastic tank

Has anyone ever tried melting a plastic tank? How does it turn out? I've got a 8 oz. tank for my Dazzler but it calls for a 6 oz. Can anyone help?

If this were me with this problem I would go buy a 6 oz. tank and save the 8 oz. for another plane.I would be afraid the tank walls may get to thin and rupture in flight. If you go ahead and try to change the shape of the tank, please make sure to fuelproof the tank area.

Save the plane and buy a new one
