Default Falcon Trading is no more!

I had been mentioning in various posts about a great second plane. If fact, I was just about to write a reply to someone posting a request for info for a second plane and I was going to recommend the Falcon Midwest Aerobat. Frank Granelli from the AMA did a review on one a couple years ago and I bought one based on that review. I loved it. It was a good build, fast, and very aerobatic, but easy enough for a someone that recently solo'ed that is looking for a second plane.

Well, I was looking for a URL to post here but found out that the parent company, Falcon Trading, sold out and the Aerobat is no longer available. That's a tough one because it was such a great plane. Little dihedral, and high-wing semi-symetrical airfoil. Flys great with a .46, although I used an OS 50 on mine and it had lots of power.

To bad about that one.

Yea, they've been gone for some time now. Too bad, the Aerobat was one of the best!

Hi Mike.

You're so very right. I really enjoy flying mine. I have since somewhat grown out of it, gonna pass it down to another member of the club that can benefit by flying it. He is a fairly new pilot but, after watching him yesterday, he is ready for something more advanced and the Aerobat is just the ticket.

Later.

DS.
