Default Question on coating with fiberglass

I'm gearing up to build another plane out of balsa (Avonds F-14). I have built an SU-27 Flanker and covered it with Monokote but want to cover the F-14 in fiberglass.

Do I need to sheet the F-14 with balsa (say 1/16" or 1/32") first?

Thanks.

Yes, you will need to sheet with balsa before fiberglassing.

That was the quick answer. I would also recommend checking out the how to's at
www.airfieldmodels.com by Paul Johnson (cafeenman) for further info on glassing.
