Hi, I have lost the nose wheel on my Ripmax Nova 40 near six foot wingspan. Its a tri wheel setup so i am going to buy 3 new wheels as the ones that come with the plane are hard foam type. What i would like to know is wich would be best suited to my flying field which is grass and fairly bumpy, ie should i buy low bounce rubber tyres, air filled tyres ,treaded or smooth etc also what size diam wheels woud be best for this type of ground.
Thanks in advance.............

Doesn't really matter what sort of wheels as long as they're round and can revolve!
Get a 'bog standard' low cost 2.5" wheel from your local shop, no need for low bounce, treaded etc.
If you still have the two rear wheels, why replace all three?, just get a new one of the same diameter for the nose.
I have flown from grass for many years with all sorts of model and consequently all sorts of wheel, it makes little difference as to the style although I have a personal dislike of the squashy foam type supplied with some artf kits.

I fly from a rough grass field too and found that the foam wheels are good for going over grass as they tend to bounce less.
as was mentioned before... just get a new wheel the same diameter as the rest and you should be fine.
